Preface
I would like to give thanks and congratulate Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to take a good and time being step to publish Health Bulletin for the first time in Bangladesh. I believe this bulletin will strength our health MIS system. This bulletin will be helpful for better service in all level service delivery point to achieve MDG and specially to obtain the vision taken for 2011-2016 in HPNSDP. Neonatal Mortality Rate is 2.58 per 1000.

Description:
0-5 yrs. child mortality related to ARI, Diarrhoea & EPI related diseases has been reduced to a remarkable number. Some death are occurring due to Accident, Drowning, Snake bite, Perinatal conditions and other causes. FVC & Valid Measles Coverage is the reflection of CES of the year of 2010

Maternal Mortality Rate in Dhaka district is less out of expected National MMR. The out come of MMR has been achieved due to quality ANC, PNC & Comprehensive EOC service.

Important information and necessary issues for Dhaka Civil Surgeon Office
1. Creation of new post and recruitment of H.A., A.H.I., H.I., in Tejgaon Health complex is required for field level activities which is now done mainly by NGOs and Family Planning Workers. 2. Some vaccant post of Doctors, Paramedics field level supervisor (AHI & HI), Basic Health worker (HA) and class III & IV should immediately be filled up. 3. Ambulance, X-ray machine and others medical equipments should be repaired urgently for better service delivery in UHC as required. 4.No separate office and residence for Civil Surgeon, Dhaka
