Preface
Gazipur Sadar is the most densely populated area of Gazipur District, 39 km away from the Capital City Dhaka.Has an area of 172.35square mile.The literacy rate of Sadar Upazila is quite high and appreciable.The growth rate of population is 1.3%. Location of boundaries---- North - Sreepur , South - Dhaka, East - Sreepur & Kaliganj West - Kaliakoir with the GPS 24o N 90 o 25 / E / 24 o N 90 o 42 / E .Over and above Sadar upazila, Gazipur is saturated with the significant number of industries , garments factories &quite appreciable number of nationalized institutes like BARI,BRRI,BOF,IUT,DUET, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY,OPEN UNIVERSITY, TAJUDDIN MEDICAL COLLEGE,Bangabandhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman Agriculture University & Bhawal National Park and so on. Its a immense pleasure to publish all the health of related information's of 2014 of this glorious area.Hope this bulletin will help to improve the future health status of all walks of life & the development partners of health.

Important information and necessary issues for Gazipur (Sadar) Upazila Health Office
To build digital Bangladesh issue like the Health Bulletin is indeed we do in dire need. Health Bulletin is a new developed concept will definitely help the common people understand the health problem of public health interest.Concerned NGO, Autonomous bodies and other allied private organization will be benefited from various data of Health bulletin.Planning and Execution gap will be reduced in the long run.To get excellent service I would like to mention some important proposal in this connection such as -- (01) Sadar Upazila Health Complex will require separate office building infrastructure which is now situated in hired damp building (02) The vacant posts of the Health Assistant must be filled up immediately (03) To train the doctors and paramedics for capacity building (04) 5 union sub center has no structure facilities which should be immediately made for the betterment of health service . Health Subcenters are also need to be modernaized for better services to the remote areas.The Health Bulletin is indeed an important document will help the administration to illuminate the digital Bangladesh in the days ahead.
