Mymensingh Civil Surgeon Office | Health Bulletin 2015 |
Preface
It is my great pleasure to publish this Health Bulletin 2015 of Civil Surgeon Office, Mymensingh. This bulletin contains almost all the health related information of 2014.It is published to disseminate the information of upazila Health Complexes to the other departments and development partners of health. For health bulletin we collected data from wide range of sources across the district. The health managers, officers and staff of the head and subordinate offices and health facilities and the fields, all were engaged to make huge data available, analyze them and prepare reports. I hope all the information in the bulletin will be helpful for planning and bridging the gaps in the health services of the district. We use health bulletin to understand how much progress we made in the past year in the health sector. We also understand through this bulletin where we made little progress, where we need to pay more attention and where we could do better. The bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 &MDG-5 which will help to locate the MDG targets. The sanctioned and vacant posts are published in the bulletin. I like to pay attention of the higher authority. I express my sincere thanks to professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad additional director general (planning & development) and line director MIS Health for providing his overall support and positive attitude towards development of this health bulletin. This is my responsibility to thank all the team members of MIS Health for their continuous support and creation of health bulletin software for one step ahead towards DIGITAL BANGLADESH. Finally, I acknowledge deeply the continuous of my associates who worked hard and closely with me to publish the Health Bulletin 2015.

Important information and necessary issues for Mymensingh Civil Surgeon Office
I try my level best to input all accurate data of our district. We need unlimited (10GB ) internet connectivity for more smooth ICT works and alternative source of power supply needed for continuous support. Our manpower shortage is also a bar. In this sector we aspect support from concern authorities. Laptop/Twin Tab for concern officers and staffs are also needed for continuous monitoring and self up-gradation. For increasing quality of data it is necessary to start Quarterly / at least half yearly ‘Data Review Meeting’ at Dist level. A well furnished MIS room need at CS office. A Motor Cycle with fuel and maintenance cost should be given to District and Upazila level Statistical personnel to look after MIS's activities and equipments.
