Preface
Like 2014. I am getting the opportunity again to publish all information of achievements and limitations of health care deliveries at our hospital. This Bulletin is containing all health related informations of 2014 achieved in this district of chandpur and at 250 Bed General hospital, Chandpur. Dissemination of informations of our hospital and district to other line departments and development partners will help for planning and bridging the gaps in the health service deliveries of the district . This bulletin will help us to find out constrains as well as the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. Status of Safe drinking water ,Sanitation, Vaccination, and man-power etc. are published in the bulletin . I am taking the opportunity to draw the attention of the higher authority to look into the man-power problem of the 250 Bed District General Hospital. Finally I would like to pay my greetings to the initiator of the health bulletin Software & for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Chandpur 250 bed General Hospital
I would like to mention here some problems of chandpur 250 bed general hospital which restrict our services . 1. Inadequate infrastructure: Money is allotted for extension of 200 beded structure to 250 bed but for inability to acquire adjacent land infrastructure can not be extended. 2. Shortage of manpower : MOs , EMOS , IMOs , Asst. Surgeons, Nursing Staff, 3rd & 4th class Staff all are deficient. Only 55, But my 29 was posted Out Sourcing Staff ( 4th class) are sanctioned, it is very insufficient for proper housekeeping of this large hospital. Inline, this bulletin will be a helpful guide for evaluating & monitoring our services and thus improving the health situation of the district in future .
