Upazilla Health Complex, Daudkandi (Gouripur), is a distant but well Communicated Upazilla of Comilla district. Area of the upazila is 210 square kilometer and its population is 3 Lac 54 thousands, 3 hundred and 42. it consists of 16 Unions 01 Paurasaba and household number of the upazilla is 67 thousands I hundred and thirty nine. All the Unions are not accessible by roads,

Important information and necessary issues for Daudkandi Upazila Health Complex
Upazila Health Complex, Daudkandi (Gouripur), Comilla is one of the biggest center of the district. The victims of RTA from the Dhaka-Chittagong highway and other roads come to this hospital for treatment in large number everyday. Total no of normal vaginal delivery and caesarean section is high among other upzila health complex of this district. The following steps can be taken to improve the service of our facility:- 1. 50 bed activity should be started soon with all human resources 2. All doctors and stuff should be trained on noncommunicable, communicable, IMCI and EOC related diseases. 3. One 500 MM X-ray machine. one generator in OT, should be needed, 4. one suitable vehicle should be needed for monitoring the whole area, 5. All repairable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible. Finally we would like to thank all the respective authorities for enabling us to express our information for the progress of this health care facilities.
