Preface
It gives me an immense pleasure that The Health Bulletin of management information system (MIS) under the DGHS are going to published each and every upazilla & district throughout Bangladesh. I am glad to publish this health bulletin of Noakhali district. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2014.For health bulletin we gather data from wide range of sources across the district. I hope all the information of this bulletin will be helpful for planning and bridging the gaps in the health services of this district. We use health bulletin to understand how much progress we made in the past year in the health sector. We also understand through this bulletin where we made little progress, where we need to pay more attention and where we could do better. The health bulletin 2014 will contribute to improving transparency about health issues of the country. The bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 & MDG-5 which will help to locate the MDG targets. The sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin. I like to draw attention of the higher authority to look after this burning issue .I always believe that there is enough scope for perfection in the future health bulletin. I am looking forward to better version in the coming year by the help of valuable comment & suggestion from your side and MOHFW & MIS -Health. This is my responsibility to thank all the team member of MIS Health for their continuous effort and creation of health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead towards " Digital Bangladesh".
