Preface
I am very much glad to publish health bulletin for the year 2014 of 250 Bedded General Hospital Dinajpur.It contains all health related necessary information. This bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5, which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the district which will help us and our development partners for proper planing & improvement of health service delivery system. I like to request to the higher authority to look into the issue of manpower including doctors shortage. Finally I express my cordial thanks & gratitude to director of MIS & all technical hands of MIS for their kind co- operation.

Important information and necessary issues for Dinajpur General Hospital
In 2014 we could not reached to our goal in health status due to several factors .So I like to suggest some important issues which will help to achieve our goal for the improvement of health status in up coming year.
(i) Manpower should be filled up at an emergency basis.
(ii) Vacant post should filled up immediately.
(iii) Trained doctors & nurses( specially on EOC & IMCI) should be posted as early as possible.
(iv) All kind of repairable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible.
Finally It's my pleasure to prepare & write last year health status at this bulletin which will help us to compare our progress in upcoming year. This is very useful document & will help the people to understand health services & to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
