Preface
I am very glad to publish this Health Bulletin of Rangpur Medical College Hospital. This Bulletin contains all the health related information upto December 2014. This Hospital is one of the major government medical college Hospitals in Bangladesh, located in Rangpur district under new Rangpur Division. Since this hospital has name and fame, complicated patients from all the 8 districts of Rangpur division come here for their proper treatment. The bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will also help to localize the MDG targets. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014. I like to draw attention of the higher authority to look into these issues. Finally, I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Rangpur Medical College Hospital
Important information and necessary issues for Rangpur Medical College hospital: As per commitment & desire of the honorable prime Minister, Peopels republic of Bangladesh, her excellency Sheikh Hasina mission & vision 2021 and to achieve MDG,we are trying our best effort with maximum utilization of minimum man power. In northern zone near about 2 crore people live in Rangpur division. Rangpur Medical college Hospital burdens all the patients come from this northern zone of Bangladesh.
In March/2010 the 500 Bedded Hospital declare as 1000 bed Hospital. But the man power setup is still as previous 500 bedded hospital . The followings are the burning issues for the integrated development of this Hospital:-
1. More infrastructure are to be established as cardiac surgery, Nero surgery, Urology, Neurology, Oncology, Intensive care infectious dieses, dia lysis unit etc.
2.More man power & post creation is urgent need in every sector from professor........... to cleaner .
3. To insure uninterrupted power supply in every life saving sector as OT, ICU, Dialysis, SCANU Unit,necessary measures should be taken.
4. water supply sanitation sewerage system is broken & Very old, illfunctioning which make the Hospital environment polluted.
5.No incinerator is existing in this tertiary lavel Hospital, so waste disposable is nearly impossible in modern scientific way.
All though the above limitation Health service delivery system is moral less satisfactory & it's an excellent health service center in Rangpur Division. Twenty four hours hemo-dialysis ICU care, CT scan, MRI service is available here.
we draw the kind attention of the DGHS & MOHFW for solving the problems described & thus help to developed this Hospital as an excellent modern health service center.
