Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Kushtia District for the year of 2015. This bulletin contains all the health related profile of Kushtia district and also the performance of the year- 2014. This bulletin will help to identify the laps and gaps of health services of the district. It also helps to prepare next year plan to improve the health services. This bulletin reflects the present health status of this district. The sanctioned and vacant posts are also published in this bulletin which may draw the attention of higher authority to take necessary action. Important information and necessary issues for Kushtia Civil Surgeon Office
1. Civil surgeon office hasbeen built in 1887. This building is too risky now. So new building needs tobe buildup is very essential.
2. 41 (Forty one) union sub center having no infra structure.
3. Manpower : 27 posts of medical officer are vacant.
4. Total 54 (fifty four) health assistants posts is vacant. So appointment of HA against the vacant posts are needed for better field level health service.
5. 50 (fifty) other class three posts are vacant. So appointment of against the vacant posts is needed for maintaining better services.
