Preface
I am highly glad to publish health blulletin,2015 of Betagi Upazila. This bulletin contains all health related information of 2014. Betagi Upazila is a remote upazila of Barguna district.It is 33 KMs north From Barguna.It is situatedon the bank of river Bishkhali.It is about 26 KMs long and 6.5 KMs breth.Total area of this upazila is about 167 sq. KMs.It has 7 (seven) Union With 59 Mouzas.There are 27645 household and 139503 population in Betagi Upazila.Out of them 71,376 male and 68127 female.Literacy rate is about 59%.About 85% people live under proverty level.There are 1 (one) UHC, 1 (one) USC , 5 (five) UH&FWC and 16 (Sixteen) community clinics in Betagi Upazila.There are11 (Eleven) Doctors are Posted out of 27 (twenty seven) post in this Upazila.4 of them are work at GH,Barguna. This bulletin is published to disserminated the information of Betagi Upazila to other line department and devlopment pertners of health.I hope all the infomation of this bulletin willhelp for planning and bridging the gaps in health service of this Upazila.Government health office has many data stored in the fine.The health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results achivements of 2014.This bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 whice will help to localise the target.The bulletin has also the information on save drinking water and sanitation status of this upazila. EmOC programme of this upazila is not going on smothy due to lack of pair doctors for long time.All the sanctioned and vacant post are published in this bulletin of 2014.I like to take attention of higher authority to into this issue.Finally I wouldlike to congratulate initiator of this health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Betagi Upazila Health Complex
This is a 50 (fifty) Bedded Hospital.There are only 4 doctors Presents out of 21 post. EmOC pair of doctors are absent from beginning of the EmOC Activities.But 45(forty five) cesarean held at betagi UHC in2014 There are 15 (fifteen) Community Clinics running out of 17 (seventeen).Huge number of patients are treated at the Community Clinics.Normal delivery facilities are present at Ranipur CC & Utter Shopkhali CC.24 (Tweenty four) normal deliveries were conducted at Ranipur Community Clinics& 10(ten )normal deliveries were conducted at Utter Shopkhali Community Clinic till to date.
