Preface
I am very glad to publish this e-health bulletin of Barisal sadar Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related informations of 2014. This bulletin is published to disseminate the informations of barisal sadar upazila to other line departments and development partners of health. I hope all the informations of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This e-health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2014. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh. Important information and necessary issues for Barisal (Sadar) Upazila Health office. All the health and family welfare workers & CHCP in this upazila are hard working and punctual. some recent training may make them more skillful which will help us to achieve good performance in future. all the vacant post of doctors should be filled immediately. our doctors & health workers need more training on imci also.Instruments & furniture are not sufficient in CC which should be increased. vehicle facilities for the field workers should be improved. This is very useful document for the administration , local govt & all the people of this locality to know & realize the health situation & give Suggestions to improve our health services furthermore according to the need.
