Important information and necessary issues for Bhola Civil Surgeon Office
In 1984 Bangladesh Government declared Bhola as district. After declaration of district Bhola Civil surgeon office performed its activities in Sadar upzila Health Complex which was 6 beded Hospital at British period . Then 1988 new civil surgeon office Constructed in Bhola sadar Hospital campus which was very small space and congested and not enough room for staff of civil surgeon office & DRS store. Now EPI store is under construction. There are shortage of fax machine, photo copier, Dextop Computer. If we It could not fill the lacking then MIS system will be interrupted. It can be mentioned here that every civil surgeon office has a guest room but Bhola has not. Hence it is very much necessary to entertain the guest of Bhola as well maintain the good reputation of district people`s hospitability. In connection bhola has 7 upzila and most of them are far from CS office so if any kind of district Meeting is held UH&FPO & other official can not take rest due to absence of guest room. So it is time demand to make guest room in CS office. Bhola has a district Hospital which in recently declared 250 bedded but it is running with 50 bedded staff only. So eventually patients were not satisfied due to shortage of service provider. On the other hand, Averagely 180 patient admitted in this hospital which is burden for present staff. Now 250 beded new building is under construction. Now it requires sanction of manpower of 100 beded Hospital & immediate posting. Otherwise Bhola could not delivered her service to the door of the people which is current government vision. If we want to implement the digital health service and effective referral system then we need ambulance, driver and fuel as well as water ambulance. As because bhola is a island district and it has no road communication with other district. To achieve the Millennium Development Goal we need also a specialized child hospital. Bhola demands a Truma centre due to huge road traffic accident.
