Preface
As~salamu~alaikum,Government of the people"s republic of Bangladesh is going to publish Local Health Bulletin. We are going to take part in this efforts. MIS (HEALTH) is heping us to publish this bulletin. To fulfil the target of MDG 4& 5 GOAL we should publish local health bulletin. We have tried our heart and soul to present the data up to date.Our Government is trying to reach the health service at the door of the people. I like to thank honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh & honourable Health & F.W. Important information and necessary issues for Pirojpur District Hospital
Although this hospital is a 100 bedded hospital, yet it is running with 50 bedded manpower. Out of 33 posts of doctors , there are only 12 doctors present in this hospital now. So sufficient manpower should be posted as early as possible. There is no "Identified" medicine store space in this hospital. The postmortem house is above three km away from the hospital. Doctors face a lot of problem during PM due to lack of official vehicle. So a vehicle with fuel is necessary for this purpose. During meeting, workshop and seminar we face a lot of problem due to lack of Multimedia Projector. We also face problem copying different official papers . So we need a multimedia projector and photocopier. Two Ambulances are quite old and it frequently ,it also faces lot of problem during moving. So we need two Ambulance as early as possible.Hospital"s building & residence are now 50- 60% not useable .So it need repairs immediately. A lot of thanks MIS(health) .
