Preface
Health Bulletin is like a mirror of that reflects the health care delivery system at grass root level. It is an important yearly publication containing health releated information and activities.
Nabiganj Upazila Health Complex is publishing regularly the Health Bulletin since 2011. It is a matter of great pleasure for us that this year we also publish the Health Bulletin 2013 like past. This Bulletin is published to disseminate the information of health releated activities of Nabiganj Upazila to other line department and development partners of Health. Everybody can know the health status of Nabiganj Upazila if he goes through this Bulletin. I hope all the information of this Bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health service of this upazila. The Govt. Health office has many data stored in the line. The Bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help us to achieve the MDG targets.It also contains the information and of safe drinking water and sanitation status of upazila. All the sactioned and vacant post are shown in the bulletin of 2013. Available logistics and equipments list are also included.I like to draw attention of the higher authority to look into this matters.By analising the data performance and achievement data of last three years published in Health Bulletin.Our achievement is satisfactory and we are reaching our goal.I hope we can keep it sustainable. Finaly I would like to congratulate the director of MIS,DGHS the initiator of the health Bulletin software for setting us to make digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Nabiganj Upazila Health Complex
Last year we could n't give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons.Here I like to mention some important factors,which will help us to improve our service infuture.
1. Vaccant post should be filled immediately.
2. Bed capacity of health complex should be increase.
3. Well equiped operation theater should be provided.
4. Labour room should be enriched with adequate logistic e.g.- Delivery Table,Delivery Kits etc.
5. We are in need to ECG Machine,Sterilizer Machine(Autoclab),Ambulence,Wooden furniture(chair,table,almirah)
6. Condemn Generator for Emergency Electric supply should be replaced by new one.
