Preface

Chittagong, the port city & door city of Bangladesh consists of 14 upazilla with a population of 56,20,565. Civil Surgeon Chittagong with his dynamic, active & digital team is all the time busy to improve health status in Chittagong, as well as updating digital services containing data reporting with collaboration of MIS team of DGHS. We are trying to obtain successful goal of MDG-4 & MDG-5, manpower status & infrastructure as a whole. We feel now that MIS of DGHS is the King of King for our national digitalization. Our grateful thanks to MIS of DGHS for continuous support & co-operation to us for developing a nice software so that now we can participate in Digital Health System.

Important information and necessary issues you want to raise
Chittagong is the second largest & important district of the country. But it is very unfortunate that Civil Surgeon, Chittagong has no Govt. residence & stuffs of his office has no govt. residence. Once upon a time Civil Surgeon office was at Fairy hill 5 Loyal Road. In course of time it was shifted to Medical School building of Chittagong General Hospital on 27-9-1971. No new building were constructed for office or residence of Civil Surgeon. We have no sanctioned post for Statistician in Civil Surgeon Office Chittagong. Its our great pleasure that now Government has planned to construct office and residence in the ''Integrated Office Complex'' at Fairy hill under HPNSDP. Recently Cheif Engineer of Health Engineering department (HED) has visited the Fairy hill 5 Loyal Road, Chittagong in the proposed place to construct office & residence of Divisional Director (Health),Chittagong & Civil Surgeon, Chittagong. We express our great sincere gratitude to Honorable Prime Minister, Health Minister, & other high officials of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for their continuous support to render our services to the rural people of Bangladesh. We are giving emphasize to ensure the staying of trained personnel 24 hours at the EmoC centers to provide the quality services to the pregnant mothers and childrens. We are very careful to give better services from day to day in our all Community Clinics & all other health facilities in Chittagong district.
