Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Islampur Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013,published to disseminate the information of Islampur Upazila of health related activities to other department and development partners of health.I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging in health services of Upazila.This bulletin will help us to find constraints and also to see the results and achievement of service in 2013.This bulletin contains the states of MDG-4 and MDG-5,which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status no. of Emergency visits & death,no of admission & death, top ten diseases according to the number of patients admitted in the UHC, Surgeries and intervention done in the Upazila Hospital, status of human resources of Upazila. We could not give our maximum efforts in the last year because of lack of Doctor & Nurses.So it is very necessary to fulfill the vacant post immediately. Finally I am very happy to published this health bulletin of 2014, because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years &will help public to understand health services. Important information and necessary issues for Islampur Upazila Health Complex |
 Still Birth & Neonatal death is very high in this Upazilla.IMCI patients are mostly increasing in this Upazilla. So IMCI refresher training should be done for all doctor & paramedics.vacant post of Doctors & Nurses should be fulfill immediately due to lack of Doctor & Nurses adequate health services facing many difficulties. It is a matter of pleasure that with these limited resources. Many operation like Cesarian section,circumcision, repair of complete perinea l tear etc. has done successfully.
