Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of jamalpur sadar upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of jamalpur sadar upazila to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014.  These are the Important information and necessary issues for Jamalpur (Sadar) Upazila Health Office. we could not give our maximum efforts last year to improve the health status due to many reasons.Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future.  The vacant post should be filled immediately.  Our Doctor need more training on IMCI.  Some community clinic should be repair.  We have no any sanction post of sweeper and security guard. These two kinds of posts are very essential for this office.  We have no own UH&FPO office building.So it is urgently need to build a own UH&FPO office building. I am very happy to write this health bulletin of 2014. Because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years.This is very useful document & will help people to understand health services & to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
