I am very glad to pablish the Health Bulletin of melandah upazila.This bulletin contains all the health relateded information of 2013.This Bulletin is published to disssminate the information of Melandah upazila to others line depertment partners of Health. I Hope all the information of this bulletin will Help for planning and bridging the gaps in Health service of this upazila. This Health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achivements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will Help to localize the MDG targets.This Health bulletin has also the infomation on safe drinking water and sanitation status of this upazila. All sanctioned and vacant posts are Shown in this bulletin ..I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into this issue.  1)Ensure reguler supply of Electricity during load shedding by IPS/ Genaretor. 2)Reguler Fuel supply of Generator. 3)Ensure sufficient number of skilled or Trrained persons(Doctors,Anaesthetic OT staffs)in24hours. 4)Regular arrangement of refresher Training of concern staffs. 5)Ensure OT supply logestic & Equipments. 6)Awareness development Health program in community level. 7)Adequate supply of essential drugs. 8)Strengthening of referral system in all sections ,govt non govt & also community level. 9)Ensure Ambulence services in 24 hours. 10) also ensure safety environment for doctors,Nurses& related staffs. 11) Ensure Photo copy Mechine. 12) Anaesthsa(con)/ Anaessthetist p0st is vacant. consult(surgery).Consultant(Gynee&obst) posted here but opertion theatre is not functioning. 13.) we need one new building for EPI store & office of HI&SI.) There is no Meeting/Conference room in this premises.
