Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Daulatpur upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of daulatpur upazila to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. Government health office has many data stored in the fine. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2013. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue. Important information and necessary issues for Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex- Manikganj |
1. Bachamara Union (ward 2&3)& Baghutia Union(ward1&2) are separated from Daulatpur Upazila by Jumuna river.It needs speed boat to carry patient from that area peoples. 2. 31 beds Hospital is upgrade to 50 beds. Hospital with staff quarter was completed . Handover of the Hospital and staff quarter was done by contractor of Health Engineering department on 2011 but yet not run due to administrative approval and insufficient manpower. 3. No generator is given.Electric load shedding is very frequent.It requires generator immediately and provide fuel cost. 4. No Dental chair is given.peoples are deprived from dental problem. 5. 300ma of x-Ray machine is non-functioning due to low voltage.
