Preface
As a manager at Upazilla level, It is of my great pleasure to publish the health bulletin 2014 of Monohardi Upazila Containing health related data and information of 2013. I have to manage all Public health programs,especially the primary health care services in the Upazila and also look after the 50 bed Upazila hospital. The objective of Upazila health complex is to provide modern scientific health and family planning services to the rural people. there are different qualitative and quantitative changes have come to health care service. It is our duty to inform mass people to take this opportunity . Government has extended the primary health care services to rural people through community clinic. there are 38 community clinic in Monohardi Upazila, 35 are functioning and 3 under construction. We are now giving people MNH,IMCI & Nutrition corner, ANC,PNC,ORTC & NCD corner service with all modern facilities. We have reduced infant mortality rate, maternal mortality rate. I think this bulletin reflects the current situation of health status of Monohardi Upazila. This bulletin will help in planning and bridging the gaps in health services in this Upazila. This bulletin reflects our commitment,efforts,dedication and quality based service towards the people pf Monohardi Upazila. I express my gratitude to all those who are related to this health bulletin 2014. We hope by our collective services with participation of local people,we will achieve our health target Inshallah.

Important information and necessary issues for Monohardi Upazila Health Complex |
In spite of our maximum efforts we have improved the health status yet we could not satisfy all the patients. I mention some important factors which will help us to achieve our health target. Reconstruction of old hospital building and Quarters, Supply of gas within hospital campus ,supply of new ambulance , Continuous supply of Medicine & MSR,Doctors,Nurse,Paramedic and other health related staffs should be trained up with modern and recent technology to ensure total quality of management, Vacant post,especially swiper,MLSS should be filled up with respective staff.
