Preface
I am highly glad to publish this health bulletin of Nalitabari Upazill,Sherpur.Nalitabari is located at
25.0833°N 90.1954°E . It has 59219 units of house hold and total area 329.59 km².Nalitabari has 12 Unions/Wards, 108 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 138 villages. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2014. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of the upazilla to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazilla. Government health office has many data stored in the line. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazilla. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate DGHS on the health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Nalitabari Upazila Health Complex |
Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reason. Here, I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1) The vacant post should be filled immediately. 2) Our doctors and nurses need more training on IMCI,ANC,PNC and safe delivery 3) All the repairable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible.4) Local leaders and Public participation in Health System will help a lot for further progress.5) Dedication, service oriented faithful mind both from the service provider and receiver needed .6) Emphasis on Health education. Finally, I am very happy to write this Health Bulletin of 2014 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for important in future.
