Preface
This is a great opportunity for me to publish this health bulletin of this upazila for the Third time. This bulletin contains all the health related informations like health facilities,manpower,present health status of his upazila during last year-2013. All the health related programs like- EPI, IMCI,Dewarming, Vitamin A supplementation,Non communicable diseases (NCDs). MCH services etc are implementing at grass root level in this upazila. We are also providing health services to the grass root level through community clinlcs.The achievement of these programs will be reflected through this health bulletin. The International classification of diseases (ICD-10) is applied in this bulletin for diagnosis and causes of deaths that simplifies statistical analysis .I hope all the informations of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets in this upazila.It contains also the information of safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2013. I would like to take attention of the higher authority to look into this issue. I have tried my level best to make this health bulletion authentic then last year. Finally I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to my higher authority for setting us another steps ahead towards Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex |
 This important information of this upazila is Up-gradation of the health complex from 31 to 50 bed completed and handed over in June 2011. The manpower, budget and logistical not supplied; 50 bed health complex is not opened. So we could not deliver better service like major surgical procedures, Caesarean section, specialist doctors service in this health complex. The posts of doctor and consultants for 50 bed hospital are vacant. The posts should fill up immediately and 50 bed should start with full manpower, budget and logistics. We have 31 HA post,13 medical Assistant posts, 7 pharmacist post are vacant. We have no statistician for last 3 years, so we have to fall in problems in record keeping and sending statistician information to higher authority. We have two Ambulance one is out of order auction able for last 12 years, deat ambulance another is nonfluctuating and repairable. So Ned a new ambulance for better ambulance service I hope this bulletin will help us to solve these problems of this upazilla for providing better service to the people.
