Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of Shahrasti Upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Shahrasti Upazila to other line department and development partners Government health office has many data stored in the fine. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2014. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue. It is pleasure to knowledge you that Shahrasti Health Complex are National Awarded on EmOC good performance-2011. This hospital's Doctor-17, Nurse- 9, Medical Technologist -9, SACMO- 10, Office Staff- 5, Field Staff- 44, CHCP- 17 & Other Staff 48 working heard to achieve the target. All the rood level 2 union sub center 2 MO,2 SACMO, 2 Pharmacist & 2 MLSS, 6 UHFWC's 6 AS, 6 SACMO & 23 Community Clinic 19 CHCP are functioning with working hardly and all reports send online system. Important information and necessary issues for Saharasthi Upazila Health Complex |
 Lest year we give maximum efforts at give improve health service to the people of shahrasti upazila in spit of our shortage of manpower and some other facilities. Here I like mention some important factors which will us to achieve good results in future. 1. The vacant post should be filled immediately. 2. Our doctor and nurse need more training on IMCI. 3. Number of community clinic and the bed capacity of the health complex should be increased.
