Preface
Welcome to Health Bulletin of Mirsarai, Chittagong. Mirsarai is situated in the Northest part of Chittagong district. It is separated from the District Feni, by river Feni. This place of natural beauty has hills on the east and sea on the west. It is crossed by Dhaka- Chittagong highway and railway. With limited resources health officials and workers are delivering service to large population of the Upazilla. This bulletin sheds light on different public health aspects of the Upazilla.

Important information and necessary issues for Mirarsarai Upazila Health Complex |
 Though we are determined to serve the people of Mirsarai, there are several problems which needs to improve the delivery of service. Most important ones are mentioned below: 1. we need proper water and sanitation facilities here.Due to lack of deep tube well to collect ground water,stuffs are currently using pond water for their domestic purpose.This is hazardous and unhealthy 2.we need better electricity service.As load shedding causes disruption in delivery of service to the patient.Thus,we need abetter electricity connection with limited load shedding.This will ensure that operation theatre and nebulizer machine and suction machines can be used when necessary 3. X-ray machine is not working at the moment. we need this to be repaired urgently.
