Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of General Hospital, Comilla. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013.This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of General Hospital, Comilla to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this hospital Government health office has many data stored in the fine. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the Hospital. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2013. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue. Important information and necessary issues for Comilla General Hospital |
 Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in the future. 1. All the vacant post should be filled up immediately, Specially class 3rth and class 4th . 2. Our doctor and nurse need more training on IMCI. 3. The bed capacity should be increased in the general hospital, comilla from 100 to 250. 4. All the repairable medical equipment's should be repaired as soon as possible , if repair is not possible than the equipment should be replaced as soon as possible (X-ray machine)by the DGHS and related authorities 5. Training of non-trained personnel should be done step by step. Finally I am very happy to write this health bulletin of 2013 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in the future.
