Preface
I am very happy to publish this health bulletin of Titas upazila health department. This bulletin contains all the informations of 2013, related to health. This bulletin is being published to disseminate the informations regarding health, to other line departments and development partners of health. I hope all the informations in this bulletin will help for planning and implementation of the lackings in health service of this upazilla. Government health office has many data stored in the file.This health bulletin will help us to find the constrains and also to see the results and achievements of the year 2013.The bulletin contains the status of MDG- 4 and MDG-5 which will help us to localize the MDG targets.This health bulletin has also the other health related informations including the sanitation and safe drinking water supply status in this upazilla.The informations regarding delivering health services from the community clinics operating in this upzilla, is also come into view in this bulletin.All the sanctioned and vacant posts in 2013, in this upazilla are also published in this bulletin.I like to draw attention of the higher authority regarding this issue.Finally i like to thank all the concerned in publishing this bulletin and hoping that this publication will play a great role in improving the health status of this Upazilla in the coming days.

Important information and necessary issues for Titas Upazila Health Complex |
 Last year we tried our best to improve the health status of this upazila with our limited man power and resourcs. But there were some limitations. Here I like to mention some important factors removing which, will help us to improve the health status of this upazila: 1) The vecant posts of Doctors, Nurses & other status should be filled up immediately. 2) Doctors, Nurses & other related staffs should be trained on IMCI & other sectors. 3) Number of community clinics should be increased & supply of midicins should be increased. 4) All the repairable equipments should be repaired/ replaced as soon as possible. 5) All the female health staffs should be trained on midwifery. 6) Madicine & other health related comodities supply in the health complex should be in creased. Finally I am very happy to publish this health bulletin 2013 of Titas upazila because this document will help us to intensify our efforts in progressing health status of this upazila in the up coming years. In my opinion this is a very useful document and will help the public to understand health service and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
