I am very glad to publish this Local Health bulletin 2014 of Parshuram Upazila. This health bulletin contains all the health related informations of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localize the MDG targets.Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software for setting us one and step ahead toward digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Parsuram Upazila Health Complex |
 Last year (2013), we were in shortage of doctor and sweeper. Due to lack of human resource it is very hard to provide optimum service to the beneficiaries. No post of doctor is filled up in the union level institutions. Only SACMOs are working in this level. 76%physician posts are vacant in this upazila. Due to Shortage of sweeper it is very difficult to keep the cleanliness of the hospital.Here it is remarkable that only one post of sweeper is filled up out of 5 sanctioned post .These posts (5) were sanctioed against 31 bed .No post of sweeper has been sanctioned/ created newly after the improvement of the number of bed from 31 to 50 . We hope that the proper higher authority will kindly provide requisite number of doctors and sweepers this year. As ours is an EmOC hospital, the vacant posts of Jr. Consultant (anesthesia ), MO /Anesthetist and EmOC trained MO should be filled up on urgent /emergency basis . For this EmOC hospital we need an ultrasonography (USG) machine for pregnant mothers. Beside this we need a photocopy machine for paper work. We hope that the higher authority will be kind enough to take initiative in this regard. At present we have only one functioning ambulance. We need minimum one more ambulance.
