Preface
I am very glad to publish 3rd Local health bulletin-2014 of laxmichari upazila, Khagrachari. It is very necessary document for upazila health service system to overview at a glance. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013.This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of laxmichari upazila to other line department and development partners of Health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the results and achievements of 2013. The bulleting contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2013. I like to take attention of the higher authority to look into to this issue. Finally I would like to congratulate the initiator of the health bulletin software and specially thank all stakeholders to supply their data and statistician also, for editing LHB-2014 successfully published. It is necessary document to find out our strength, weakness, risks and assumption for next year, and we mentally prepared to receive all good consult for better publishing and developing e Health system through making Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Lakshmichari Upazila Health Complex |
 Last year we could not give our maximum efforts improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1. The vacant post should be filled up immediately; 2. Our doctor and nurse need more training on Emoc ; 3. Another 06 community clinic should be established as soon as possible; 4. All the repairable equipment’s should be repaired as soon as possible; 5.We have two female HA who need CSBA training for better servicing. 6.We implement activities in hilly area but TA/DA is insufficient for more staff ; to be attentive budget allotment section for increasing. 7.Trained up for better reporting system;who involed regular reporting system. Further recommendation for improving health service/2013 1. For smoothly running for Dental Unit to deliver the dental instrument as soon as possible. 2. Very closely or regularly follow up field activities to achieved target plan/ hundred percent achieved (100%) 3. Increasing Monitoring site especial from top official or assign personnel for improving EPI activities. 4. Regular communicate or increase coordination level with national or local line department for smoothly health service. 5. Build up environment with women friendly hospital in all service level. 6. Budgeting for Implementing of tribal health program. Further implementation of the last year: 1. We set up a deep tube well for safe drinking water from UNDP chtdf fund. 2. We also get some materials such as Computer, Printer,Scaner from CMSD. Finally I am very happy to write this health bulletin of 2011 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
