Preface
Health Bulletin in an area is the mirror of the health status of that region. It gives me great pleasure to publish the Health Bulletin of Matiranga Upazila 3rd time. It includes health related informations of the year 2013 of different govt. Health centers, sub centers, of Matiranga Upazila & share those information to the other dept. of local govt. local leaders and alite persons so that they can give suggestion to improve the quality of health survice.
The Health Bulletin also contains sanction & vacant post of diff. health centers so that higher authorities can take necessary steps in posting of vacant post for smooth running of health dept. of Matiranga Upazila.
By publising Health Bulletin one can compare the health status and activities with the other Upazila of any District. of the country. It is an one step ahead towards the govt. commitment of establising ``Digital Bangladesh".
In Matiranga Upazila there is a 10 beded (non sanctioned) hospital named RHC located at Tabolchari Union. Stuff position and activities was not included in the Health Bulletin because of lack of such named praforma in Health Bulletin for this hospital. But there where posting of both health & Family Planing stuff and they give Health & Family Planing survices in OPD regularly.
In publishing 3rd Health Bulletin of Matiranga Upazila I tried my level best to minimize the deffects and faults that was done in the 2nd Health Bulletin unconsciously. A great deal of effort has been taken to ensure that this edition reflects the actual situation of health status of Matiranga.
Finally I should like to acknowldge my debt to Mr. Purnendu Bikash Dewan, statistician, UHC, Matiranga whose Meticulus work on 3rd edition was an Inspiration to me.
