Preface
senbag upazila Health complex is a 50 bedded hospital . which is situated inthe centre of senbag of noakhali . It is 4 K.m away from Feni noakhali High way which takes 10 minutes to reach by motor vehicle . It was established in 1982 as 31 bedded hospital and converted to 50 bedded in 08/02/04 .The land area of this hospital is 6.15 aqres .It is the hospital to provide primary health care service to 280610 people of senbag upazilla .The two storied building of this hospital includes emergency department indoor dept, out door dept, administrative block X-ray Room, pathology lab, E.p.I SectionIMCI corner etc. It has got an OT complex which can be an equipped one if feu other machinaries (OT Light , OT TAble) are provided family welfare dept. Is also providing there services from the hospital .The mini OT is being used by them two perform permanent contraceptive procedures .Emergency Dept. is open round the block where emergency medicare services are given by a team headed by a medical officer . X-ray &ECG facilities are abailable here and base line investigations like cine ESR, RBS, B.UNCG. S.bilirubin, widal, HBSAG,urine p/t ,SGOT, SGPT, S.calcium . are being performed in the pathological lab .One can enjoy the service by paing miniual charge fixed by govt .In the out patient dept. around 150 -200 patient visiet daily during office hour .Most of the durgs for primary care are available . In patient dpt. 48 non paing bed`s for patient and 3 paiyng cabine are available . Safe delivery service Recently IMIC corner is establised to provide IMIC(INtegrated management of childhood illness ) In EPI section cold chain system is being maintained for presering vaccines from here ,vaccines are being supplied to 216 outreach center`s . Afixed site is also run by in the health complex. This centers , children &mother`s are given vaccines against 9 vaccine preventable disease (polio,T.B, Dpiptheria, whooping cough, Teatanus,Measles,Hepatitis-B, & inpluenza B . With the complex,
