Preface
It's our immense pleasure to have the opportunity to publish yearly local health bulletin of Kaptai Upazila.It is the flagship publication of DGHS.The bulletin accumulate the report reflecting the general health situation of the Upazila .It also focus the technical information on health care related development activities of Govt. of Bangladesh each year.This bulletin contains all the updated health related information of 2013 of Kaptai Upazila.This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of Kaptai Upazila to other line department and development partners of health.This health bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localize the MDG targets.This bulletin has also the information of safe drinking water and sanitation status of this Upazila.Finally,I would like to congratulate the initiator of the Local Health Bulletin Software for setting us one step ahead towards digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Kaptai Upazila Health Complex |
 In Order to render quality health care services we need attention of the authority to address on the following issues. (i) To fill up the vacant posts especially of Consultant & Medical Officer. (ii) On the job training of newly appointed doctors & staffs. (iii) Improvement of infrastructure with extension of Hospital building to minimize the accommodation crisis. (iv) Repair of existing facilities. (v) Improvement of lab facilities. (vi) Arrangement of necessary machinery to make functioning of the existing X-Ray machine. Despite lot of constraints we hope, we are capable to serve the ailing humanity with our best effort and utmost sincerity along with co-operation from every corner of the society.
