Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of upazila. HPNSDP 2011-2016 of Ministry of Health & Family welfare has taken initiative to publish data base bulletin of each institution of health sector. This is the 3rd initiative. First health bulletin was published in 2012. In this bulletin, all the data are based on different reports of this Health Complex. It will help to disseminate health related activities of this UHC among the local people. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains also to see the results and achievements of 2012. This bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help us to localize MDG target. This bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of this upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin. I like to take attention to higher authority to look into this issue. Finally I like thank all the concern persons who help me to publish this bulletin.

Important information and necessary issues for Adamdighi Upazila Health Complex |
 Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future :- 1) Out of of 29 sanctioned posts of doctors, 19 are vacant. We are facing many difficulties due to acute shortage of doctors, particularly Vacant posts of MO's is to be filled. 2) Out of 5 posts of sweepers, 4 are vacant for many years. Due to the acute shortage of sweepers we are facing many difficulties to keep cleanliness of the hospital and its premises. 3) Out of 2 posts of Cook/mosalchee all are vacant. 4) Out of 2 posts of night-guard both are vacant. All the vacant post is to be full-filed immediately. Our doctors and other concern staffs needs more training. Our Ambulance and electric generators are very old, new supply are urgently needed. I am very happy to publish the health bulletin of 2014 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document and will help public to understand health service and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future.
