Preface
It is of immense pleasure that we are going to publish the 'Local Health Bulletin- 2014' of Upazilla Health Complex, Sariakandi, Bogra supported by MIS, DGHS, Mohakhali, Dhaka. First of all, i would like to express my gratitude and honor to Prof.Dr.Abul Kalam Azad, ADG (Planning &development) and line Director MIS, DGHS, Mohakhali, Dhaka; who has been working hard relentlessly to develop the 'Health Information System' in a much more organized and effective way. As we all know, local health bulletin is a mean by which all of us can see and analyze the local health activities and achievements of the whole year. this bulletin comprises many statistical data and information related to health services. I hope, each and every doctor and staff will be very glad to see this bulletin. To prepare this, All doctors & staffs- specially Dr.Md. Important information and necessary issues for Sariakandi Upazila Health Complex |
 Now we are providing health services to the community having a 50 bedded indoor facilities & round the clock emergency services. We have one ambulance for emergency patient transportation & stand by generator facility to meet the electricity demand while needed. We also provide 'Essential Obstetric Care' services to pregnant mother within a limited range. Our laboratory, X-ray, ECG, USG services are getting full blown within very short period. But, for the lack of adequate manpower we still could not run our operation theater fully. However, considering these limitations we still trying hard to provide good health services to our community.
