Preface
This Bulletin contains the health related information of 2013. This Bulletin is published to disseminate the health informations of gomastapur upazila to other departments and development partners of Health. I hope all the information of this Bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazila. This Health Bulletin will help us to see the results and achievements of 2013. The Bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5 which will help to localize the MDG targets. This health Bulletin has also the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila. All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin. Only five doctors including UHFPO are working here and only one sweeper, For this reason, maintaining Standard health care service is very difficult. I like to draw the attention of the higher authority to look into this issue.We Have infrastructure and beds for 50 bed hospital but no financial sanction and man power. For this reason we could not start 50 bed facility here. Hope, higher authority will be kind enough to solve this problem immediately.
