Preface
I am will great pleasure going to publish Health bulletin of Ghoraghat Upazila.The bulletin contains health related all informations of the year 2013.It will help future planning of health service to be effective and to be established to field level as well as in health complex.It contains the status of child health & maternal health which will help to implement the MDG-4 & MDG-5 targets.Many other informations, like informations about Sanitation,Safe drinking water, Social status,sanctioned & vacant posts has also been included in this bulletin.I hope this bulletin will be helpful for higher authority of health department as well as other departments.I thank to all concerned to this bulletin software, all doctors,nurses,field staffs & other office staffs for contribution in preparing this bulletin & special thanks to Statistician without whose tremendous endeavour in computer compilation this bulletin would not have been possible.

Important information and necessary issues for Ghoraghat Upazila Health Complex |
 Last year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to some reasons. 1. Most of the posts for doctors are vacant 2. Some doctors & Nurses are yet to be trained on IMCI 3. The 50 bed extention work of the hospital has been stopped since July.2012 4. The health complex is under EOC service. But become of lack of Aneasthesist & Sergeon(Gynee & Obs)Comprehensive EOC Service cannot be provided I hope this health bulletin will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. The bulletin will help the people to understand health services & to provide us useful advice for further improvement in future In concluding this preface I would like to invite all relevant personnel, their ideas & comments to enrich future publication
