Important information and necessary issues for Kurigram District Hospital |
Above the data is very essential for the institution to publish for the people. It bears positive result for publication for the health facility. This is 100 beded hospital but existing manpower is 50 beded. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina all ready declared to increase as 250 bed from 100 bed on 06/03/2010 during her visit in kurigram district. Now 250 beded hospital construction work is going on. It is on process of 100 bed manpower sanction file under the ministry of Health & Family welfare . District Hospital management committee meeting held by the hospital authority . Hospital authority already established and set up some initiative like-PABX, sound system, attached chair setup for out door-indoor patient, information center, Women Friendly Hospital Initiative, Rabis corner(DRCC) etc. to improve service quality and better management . All these performances of this sadar hospital is done by the manpower of 50 beded, which is very much difficult for the authority. It is true that we need more to setup one or two public toilet, attached chair for sitting and some Schelling fan for out door patient to improve the quality service. The patient capacity of the hospital is not sufficient for public demand. A separate labor word is very essential for this hospital. Existing EmOC labor word is temporary. Yet, we give service of all department. It is very essential to fill up the shortage of manpower and all kind of equipment. As such I have expressed my gratitude to all doctor, nurse and other staffs of this hospital to do hard work for the people to ensure quality service as possible. Thanks to all. Dr. Joynal Abedin(Jillu) Civil Surgeon-cum-Superintendent Sadar Hospital, Kurigram
