Preface
We feel proud in publishing the Health Bulletin-2014 under the guidance of MIS, DGHS.This bulletin reflects almost all the health related aspects of Nageswari Upazila.This bulletin also contains the status of MDG-4 and MDG-5, which will help to localize the MDG targets.I hope this bulletin will help in planning the health services in Bangladesh.This bulletin will also help us in finding the dark corners of our service delivery where we have to put on our light. Thanks to Civil Surgeon, Kurigram for his valuable suggestions, to my colleagues and specially to Statistician Md. Mazibar Rahman and CHCP Asaduzzaman Nur for their effortless contribution in the publication of this Health bulletin.Finally I would like to thank MIS, DGHS for this initiative of Health bulletin publication which will take us forward in building Digital Health service as well as Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Nageswari Upazila Health Complex |
 Nageswari is a big Upazila consisting of 14 unions and 1 pourashava.The population of this Upazila is also high.One and only issue of this Upazila is shortage of manpower specially doctor.There are 18 sanctioned post of doctor ; only 6 are filled up, 12 posts remaining vacant.It's not only difficult for us to meet the demand of people but pushing us in a awkward situation which will invite an unwanted incident.So the only issue and demand to be raised is to fill up the vacant posts of doctors immediately.
