Preface
Charghat upazila is a remote upazila of rajshahi district. It is 32 km east from rajshahi. It has 6 union with 49305 households and total population 2,21,887 the upazila health complex is located in the center of the upazila. The socio- economic condition is very poor in this upazila. Most of the house is made of mud and the road condition is not very well. The padma is the main river which passes beside the upazila health cmplex. In rainy season most of the land goes under water due to overflow of this river. Most of the people depends on agriculture, fishing and enterprise business.

 I am very very Glal to publish this health bulletin of upazila health complex, charghat, rajshahi. This bulletin contains all the health related information of 2013. This bulletin is published disseminate the information of upazila health complex, charghat, rajshahi to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bringing the gaps in health services of thisupazila. Government health office has many data stored in the fine. This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2013. The bulletin contains the status of MDG4 and MDG5 which will help to localise the MDG targets.
