Preface
I am very glad to publish this health bulletin of mollahat upazila. This bulletin contains all the health related information of mollahat upazila health situation of 2013.This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of mollahat upazila health facilities with other concern GOB department, NGO and other development partners(WHO, UK,UNDP). We are in wright way to achieved MDG goals except MDG-5 due to shortage of man power particularly doctors . Only Four doctors working at UHC including UH&FPO. I pay my regards to upazila chairman and UNO for their continuous support and take active participation in all programs. I am grateful to my colleague and upazila parishad members for their co-operative involvement in health related activities in field level. I am oblige to my civil surgeon of bagerhat for his kind cooperative guidance. We are proud and all credits belongs to Prof. Abul Kalam Azad, ADG and Director MIS;for his glorious innovation to spread health activities throughout and the nation also internationally. Important information and necessary issues for Mollahat Upazila Health Complex |
 I conclude and like to say last year we could not give our maximum effort of improve the health status due to many reasons .Here I mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good result in future. (1). The vacant post should be filled immediately particularly doctors . (2) Our doctors and nurses need more training on Emoc and IMCI.(3) Number of community clinic and the bed capacity of the health complex should be increased (4) All the repairable equipment's should be repaired as soon as possible say x-ray machine .Though shortage of man power adequate logistics and instruments support. We treated 55027 OPD patient, 5618 Emergency patient, 4542 Indoor patient and 116258 community clinic patient .(5) I am very happy to write this health bulletin of 2013 because this document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years. This is very useful document will help the public to understand health services system and provide us useful advises for improving the future plan and need based necessary actions .Finally I like to thanks my civil surgeon Dr. Bakar Hossain, who always advised and supervised me to qualitiful creative Health Bulletin properly.
