Preface
I am pleased to publish the Health Bulletin for the year 2014. The Bulletin contains some data and information of upazila and other field level health institutes. Some basic information like population ,household,geographical situation of upazila , sanitation and water supply status are shown in it.The health related information like indoor-outdoor and emergency patient report ,immunization of child , coverage of TT ,Emoc activities ,medical equipment , present condition of Ambulance and other vehicles,staffing position and along with some important information of this Institute are also shown in the Health Bulletin. The achievement of MDG-4 and MDG-5 are also shown so that we could able to take step to reach our goal . I congratulate to my officers and staff who have helped me in preparing the Bulletin. I am grateful to Prof.Dr. Md.Abul Kalam Azad ,ADG ,MIS,Mohakhali ,Dhaka and his other officers and staff and Civil Surgeon ,Jhenaidah for advice ,help and co-operation.. I hope this kind of Health Bulletin would help us to assess our year-long activities and to take step to deliver better health services in future . I also hope that this kind of bulletin will make a bridge with our other helping partners and agencies. Important information and necessary issues for Moheshpur Upazila Health Complex |
 1. The UHC was upgraded from 31 to 50 beds for about 4 years ago.The function of 50 beds have started in the year of 2013 but want of manpower and necessary equipment it is running poorly. There is no Junior Consultants in this UHC for years long 2. EmOC has not yet been started fully for want of manpower and available instrument . Routine EOC is running. Major operations have not been done as there is no Jr. Consultant and Anesthetist in this UHC.
