Preface
I am very happy to publish the local Health Bulletin of Terokhada upazila. The Statistics of different activities done in Health sector in January to December, 2013 have been reported in the bulletin. Terokhada is a hard to rich as well as a remote upazila, around 25km away from khulna Headquarter. Yet, we are in a better position to achieve MDG 4&5 and achievement of other indicators are also satisfactory. I also hope that the reports of health services in the bulletin will level the gaps between the health officials and the common public in our society. So, I personally thank all officials concerned to the health services for such a better achievement. At the same time, I heartily thank Honorable DG- Health, ADG- Planning & Development, Honorable Director -MIS and every one associated with the publication of the bulletin, who give me directives and technical support in this assignment which will ultimately guide us to build up a big digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Terakhada Upazila Health Complex |
2013 year we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. Here I like mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future. 1. The Vacant post should be fill up immediately ( Doctors post-15 but fill up only 04 with UHFPO without any specialist doctor, Medical Technologist Lab & Radio post vacant for a long time, Health Assistant post-34 but fill up 19 and Ambulance Driver post vacant too.) 2. All the repairable equipments should be repaired as soon as possible.
