Magura District Hospital | Health Bulletin 2014 |
Preface
“Service to mankind is service to God” the theme and spirit, which we believe in. Magura Sadar Hospital is the heart of the Health services in this district. 24 hours, 365 days in a year it works & carries 2 to 2.5 folds loads than it’s capacity. Long felt necessity to highlight annual performances of this hospital becomes true by publishing this local Health Bulletin 2014, which is an act of pleasure for me and my efficient colleagues. This bulletin contains most of the health related information of 2013 performed at Sadar Hospital, Magura. It is published to disseminate the information of Sadar Hospital Magura to other line department and development partners of health. Success, achievement, constraints and status of MDG-4,5 is briefly reflected here. It also includes human resource situation of Sadar Hospital, Magura, so that, the appropriate authority can take necessary action to fulfill the existing vacancies for better and smooth running of this hospital. I acknowledge with sincere gratitude to the DGHS for rendering conceptual financial and technical support in publishing this local Health Bulletin. Congratulations to the initiators of the Health Bulletin Software for setting us one step ahead towards Digital Bangladesh.

Important information and necessary issues for Magura District Hospital |
Magura District Hospital is the most potential health facility in the district. Though it is hundred beded hospital, on an average 200-250 patients stay here daily . That is why the on going activities of 250 beded hospital project should be implemented as early as possible. This hospital is adjacent to Dhaka –Khulna highway. A large number of Road traffic accident patients come here daily for emergency service. So establishment of Trauma center at Magura is the emergency and heartiest demand of peoples of Magura. It is a comprehensive EOC facility. So the flow of pregnant women and child patients are increasing remarkably. To achieve the MDG-4 & 5. Vacant posts should be filled up, related wards and operation theater should be renovated in modern way with air conditioner in emergency basis until the 250 beded hospital project is completed.
