Preface
we are pleasure that Health Bulletin is being published where we will be able to present our activities, performances & constraints. Ensuring health service in developed & developing countries is an enormous challenge; but we are trying our best to serve the maximum. We are grateful & like to convey our gratitude to all our staff like CHCP, Health Assistant, Assistant Health Inspectors, Health Inspectors, SACMO, Medical Officers, Nurses & all technical & non technical officials who are providing their service to develop health situation in different service provider institutions like- Upazila Health Complex, Union Sub Center, Community clinics, H&FWC & in EPI centers & at grass root level. At community clinics the CHCPs are playing vital role in heath service system. We are also grateful to Civil Surgeon, Barisal For his valuable Suggestions & guidelines. We are grateful to all policy makers also who help us always by providing their important suggestions &policy. Many types of orientation and training have been provided to all level staff of health department to enhance their level of knowledge and skill. We are pleased & proud to mention here that Banaripara Upazila has Obtained reward for EOC for the year 2011, 2010,2009 A.D and safe motherhood reward in 2012 AD. Demand Side Financing Maternal Health Voucher Scheme (DSF) has been continued here since April 2007 in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO)’s technical support. This DSF program is playing vital role to reduce maternal mortality, morbidity & neonatal death. We like to convey our thanks & gratitude all who has given efforts for this Health Bulletin.
