Preface
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to this Health Bulletin,2014 of Sreemongal Upazilla.This Bulletin encompasses all the health service related information of 2013.It serves to disseminate the information of health sector of Sreemongal Upazilla among other departments and development partners of health.The Health Bulletin will help us to find the shortcomings and also to see the achievements of 2013,thus bridging the gaps in health services of this upazilla.This bulletin contains the status of MDG-4 & MDG-5 which will help to localise those parameter of MDG which should be given more emphasis in ongoing year and plan accordingly. Important information and necessary issues for Sreemangal Upazila Health Complex |
 The Year,2013 was remarkable for Sreemongal Upazilla as in this period it achieved few milestones.Sreemongol Upazilla was among two upazilla of Sylhet Division was honoured by Govt People's Republic of Bangladesh with 'UDDIPITA SASTHOSEBA' award,2014.First LSCS operation was held in govt facility of Sreemongal in this year.We are trying our best to serve the people of this upazilla.In this regard we face difficulty due to shortage of manpower and resources.At this moment, to distribute proper health service in Sreemongal Upazilla the urgent need is to fill up the vaccant posts of doctors,nurses and other staff. We sincerely hope and give our effort to put forward step by step and achieve the goal of 'VISION 2021' of DIGITAL BANGLADESH.Thanking you.
