Preface
This is a Newly Created Upazila . There is no UHC, even site selection for UHC not done. but Two USC and 17 Community Clinic. South Sunamganj has 8 union with 30999 household & Population is about 189677. All union is not accessible through roads. Most villages remain submerage under water in rainy season. CHCPs are 20 in number & are already trained. They work in Community Clinic . There are two USC.Two Medical officer and SACMO four in number The river Mohashing runs near on eastern side of Upazila. Most of Citizen depend on agriculture, fishing, some on business. Few People live in UK & USA.

 Important information and necessary issues for Upazilla Health Complex South Sunamganj.This South Sunamganj upazilla has no UHC. We mainly worked at field levels. Here I mention some factors which will help to serve at village level (1) Vacant posts at union sub centre & H&FWC should be filled up immediately. Community clinic should be uprated. In the rural area CSBA should be trained. Finally I am very happy to write this Health Bulletin of 2014 because this documents will help us to compare our program in coming year.
