Kaliganj Upazilla Health Complex Health Bulletin 2014 Preface I am very glad to publish this health bulletin. This bulletin contains all the health related information’s of 2013. This bulletin is published to disseminate the information of kaliganj upazila to other line departments and development partners of health. I hope all the information’s of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of the upazila . This health bulletin will help us to find constrains and also to see the result and achievements of 2013 . The bulletin contains the status of MDG 4 and MDG 5 which will help to localize the MDG targets . This health bulletin also shows the information on safe drinking water and sanitation status of the upazila . All the sanctioned and vacant posts are published in this bulletin of 2013. I like to take attention of the higher authorities to look into of this issue .  Important information and necessary issues for Kaliganj Upazilla Health Complex In the year 2013 we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. I like to mention some important factors which will help us to achieve good results in future . Necessary issues that I want to raise are. 1) The vacant posts should be filled up immediately specially those of doctors and nurses. 2) Training of doctors & nurses on IMCI & EOC. 3) All the repairable equipments should be repaired urgently . 4) We are urgent need repair of the x-ray machine. which is out of order from the very beginning of setting from many years (We have written several time to CMSD) 5) Water Pump is out of order for 2 years.(We have already writtenly Informed to the Health Engineering Department.) 6) Roads & Hospital boundary shpuld be repair by Health Engineering Department very urgently. 7) Some Community Clinic should be repair immediately by Health Engineering Department. 8) We have already received 1 (one) New ambulance from CMSD, 35 Laptop,34 Modem & 1 PDA from MIS in this year 2014.Which was not reported in this Health Bulletin 2013 This document will help us to compare our progress in upcoming years .This will help the public to understand health services and to provide us the useful advice for improvement in future. Finally I am very happy to Publish this health bulletin of 2013 Which is Published in 2014
