Preface
It is our pleasure to give opportunity for publishing the "Health Bulletin-2014" of kaliganj Upazila health complex, satkhira. All the health related information of 2013 about our upazila have been depicted in this issue. This bulletin disseminates all the relevant information and messages of health to other line department and development partners of health. I hope all the information of this bulletin will help for planning and bridging the gaps in health services of this upazilla. This bulletin will allow us to find contents and also to observe the results and achievements of 2012. I hope the higher authority of health department will look into this issue and take necessary actions to step forward for MDG5 goals. Finally I would to give much appreciation to the initiator and innovator of health bulletin software for setting us one step ahead toward "Digital Bangladesh".

Important information and necessary issues for Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex- Satkhira |
 In 2013 our performances in all respects reached a level which is more than average in comparison to previous years. Our upazilla has got LLP, DAAR, upazilla health system, HSS & several other projects. Still we are not able to say that our performances are upto the mark. It is beacuse of (1) Acute shortage of HRD as for example, no RMO, no MO, no paired surgeons posted here. (2) Want of some specific instruments & particularly a heavy generator needed for 24 hrs. electricity supply. We are still positive and hopeful. This document will also help the people to make them understand about health services & to provide us to useful advice for improvement of life in future.
