Important information and necessary issues for Pirganj Upazila Health Complex |
Last year, we could not give our maximum efforts to improve the health status due to many reasons. This Upazila Health Complex has declared 50 beded Hospital but yet the manpower of 50 beds are not approved. Here I want to mention some important factors for attention higher authority which will help us to achieve good results in future. This Upazila Health Complex took part in the celebration of all famous day which are related with health works with the collaboration of some NGO's and Upazila administration. From 11 March to 17 March of 2014, I visited the Primary Health Care & Management System of Srilanka with the help of WHO by the direction of Ministry of Health ,Bangladesh Govt. Pirganj Upazila Health Complex also achieved the best award for the best HSS performance among the all Upazila Health Complexes in Rangpur division by the Health Minister of Bangladesh Govt.Previously in this Upazila there were 22(Twenty two) CC and 24(Twenty Four) CHCP . So, 2(Two) CHCP were excess . Within June/2014 5(Five) new CCwill be completed .SO, 5-2=3 new CHCP should be appointed for Pirganj Upazila under Thakurgaon district. This Upazila Health Complex though running smoothly behind short of one Paediatric Consultant, one Surgery Consultant ,one Medicine Consultant and two Medical officers and one vital post of RMO.In 2013 and 2014 MNH though help us for the salary of some shortage staffs but they did not maintenance a fund for local purchasing of any essential drugs. Finally, I am very happy to write this bulletin in 2014 because this document will help us to compare our progress with 2013 and 2014.This is one of the most important document which will help to understand the population about our health services and provide us the useful advice for improvement in future day by day as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh declare the visions of 2021 to build up Bangladesh as a Digital Bangladesh in all sectors .
