Preface
Manikganj is the gateway of capital city of Bangladesh. It is the district of many saint, sage, intellectual and wise artist.Many singers are born here. The main rivers of Bangladesh, the Pamda,the Jamuna,the Dhaleswary and the Kaliganga blow over the district. Patoria ferry ghat is also a renoun place of the district. The language martyr Rafique Uddin, The Novel prize woner Amarto Sen and the father in - laws house of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam are in the district. So we are very Much proud of our district.There are seven upazilla and sixty five union in this district,. Civil Surgeon office of Manikganj district established in 1980, Present Civil Surgeon Dr. ATM Matiur Rahman Joined in this district on 26th January 2015. Till he is Serving here as Civil Surgeon.

Trauma center, 250 beded Hospital is under construction and 1st batch Manikganj Medical College Start academic session 2014-2015. one MATS and IHT is also under process .Infrastructure of Nursing College has been completed & 1st batch Start academic session 2014-2015.Those Institution need manpower and employee imediately.
