Munshiganj District Hospital | Health Bulletin 2015 |
Preface
It is a great pleasure for me that the Health Bulletin of General Hospital, Munshiganj is being published featuring the performances of this organization in 2014. I believe that it surely help assess the progress that we've made in this year. I would rather take it as a benchmark for the credibility of all the employee of this organization. In this year we've tried to scale up the coverage of services and to enhance the performances successfully by implementing the health interventions. We were very careful and aware of incorporating the correct, classified and accurate data in this edition. Lastly I would like to gratefully thanks and convey my regards to MIS for their supportive help and to the initiators and the people working behind this monstrous task.

Important information and necessary issues for Munshiganj District Hospital
Functionally this is a 100 bedded hospital though, the staff structure remain unchanged as of 50 bedded hospital. Consequently, this is the major setback to come across in uphold the performance and in achieving desirable goals. It is mentionable that the approval and sanction of manpower for 100 bed hospital is under process. It's so difficult to manage the added pressure of increasing incoming patients. Out of 02 (two) ambulances, 01 (one) ambulance is already proclaimed condemn and the other ambulance is running with service interruption. The added pressure of carrying patients will be resulted it into invalidation soon. So, 01 (One) ambulance is needed urgently. 01 (One) computer is not working completely and another one is damaged partly which were used for official purpose. So, 02 (Two) new P.Cs and 01 (One) Laptop are required immediately. There is a generator supplied and installed for uninterrupted power supply. But the allocation for fuel is insufficient to run it on smoothly. Up and above, accommodation facility for the doctors is another major crisis of this organization. There is only one staff quarter consisting of two units for class 1 officers. I hope higher authority will pay attention in this regard. Nevertheless, with all these limitations the organization is progressing satisfactorily.
